ABOUT - In a nutshell....

Designing with Passion

I’m Lesley, a fully qualified interior designer and certified home staging expert based in Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire. I founded Lesley Ann Interiors in 2015, after years of turning a lifelong passion into a professional journey — and I haven’t looked back.

My design studio specialises in residential interiors and home staging services, helping clients transform properties into beautiful, functional spaces that reflect their lifestyle — or prepare homes for a standout sale. Whether it’s reimagining a family home or styling a property for market, I’m here to bring vision and value to every project.

Design has always been in my blood. As a child, I’d spend hours leafing through my father’s World of Interiors magazines — and redecorating my dolls’ house whenever inspiration struck! My teenage summers were spent running errands for a London architectural firm, soaking up every moment.

Before founding my design studio, I built a successful career in the fast-paced corporate and media travel industry, negotiating stays at 5-star boutique hotels worldwide. Experiencing so many beautifully curated spaces only deepened my passion for interiors — and eventually led me to study Professional Interior Design at De Montfort University.

In 2005, I launched a property styling business in upscale resort of Puerto Banús on the Southern coast of Spain. There, I helped international homeowners furnish, decorate, and stage their properties for sale in a competitive market — skills I now bring to clients across Bedfordshire and Buckinghamshire and the surrounding areas.

When I’m not designing, you’ll find me reading up on the latest interior trends or planning my next travel adventure with my family.

“We were living in Australia and looking to sell our house in Milton Keynes, which had been let for over five years and needed sprucing up. Being overseas, we felt daunted by the task ahead — thank goodness we found Lesley-Ann Interiors!
An initial call via Skype confirmed she was the woman for the job. Excellent interior designer. We moved to a bungalow in Leighton Buzzard a few months ago, which we had to totally gut and refurb. We engaged Lesley to help with colour choices in our two bedrooms and a study and then assist with the design, colours and furniture for the open plan kitchen, dining and living areas.

Apart from being very pleasant to deal with and very knowledgeable, Lesley was very good at working around our existing furniture and ideas and expanding those to make us think differently about things, without being too radical! We have previously worked with Lesley on a couple of projects, so she was our first choice for a bigger construction and design for an ensuite bathroom.  She was also able to bring in a plumber, Master of Maintenance, for the actual build itself.  We already had a good idea of what we wanted to include in the design, but not how to bring it all together.  In addition to design, advising and sourcing on the various products, Lesley suggested colours that helped the room flow from the bedroom.  She produced mood boards to narrow down choices, and ‘shopping’ lists with products and prices listed to make it as easy as possible for us to pull the project together.  Lesley also sourced, mid-build, alternative solutions when needed (often last minute).  We are 100% happy with the end result and highly recommend!

Mr & Mrs Smith – Woburn Sands
When I moved into my new home I wanted to convert the ensuite bathroom from an old bath to a stylish shower.
Having seen other projects that Lesley had worked on I decided to engage her to design my new ensuite and project manage the transformation.
I sat down with Lesley and talked her through my thoughts for the room which she took away and very quickly came back to me with a few options for the design, furniture, flooring and accessories, one of which I really loved.
Lesley then helped me source the items and managed the tradesmen rip out the old bathroom and build the new modern looking ensuite.
I have attached before and after pictures – it’s such a transformation and I am so happy with the work and finish of the room.
Lesley was a pleasure to work with, she offered a number of ideas and options and nothing was too much for her.
Lesley certainly delivered on her promises and I would have no hesitation recommending her personally, her work and the tradesmen she works with.

We were living in Australia and looking to sell our house in Milton Keynes. The house had been let for over 5 years and was in need of some sprucing up. Unable to get back to the UK we were very daunted with the task that lay ahead. Thank goodness we found Lesley-Ann interiors!

With Lesley-Anns contacts our house was repainted inside and out, removal and fitting of a new carpet in the bedroom and dressing area, minor fixes inside as well as garden tidied, outside area jetwashed and roof repair. The property was then ready for styling/staging. Lesley-Ann walked us through the process and was attentive to what we wanted and open to our suggestions, as well as organising everything.
We’ve had weekly updates on progress , more when needed. When the property was ready to sell Lesley ann has continued to pop in weekly to ensure the property remains in tip top condition and has organised a weekly gardener. Lesley-ann has made the whole process stress free…which is priceless.
Lesley-Ann service is worth every penny and is very competitively priced. we now have a number of offers on our property whilst others nearby are still waiting to be sold.
I cannot sing her praises highly enough. Lesley-ann IS what you are looking for ….and more.

J. Thunder – Australia

I asked Lesley Ann Interiors to take on a 2-room project – how to bring the two bedrooms together and update for a soon-to-be teen boy, and allow the rooms to grow with him. She advised on colour solutions to get the two rooms to flow together and how to place the furniture we had, alongside additional items to maximise storage as well as space. The mood boards showed us all this, including suggested accessories, and these very importantly had buy-in from the boy himself. I was taking on the project management myself, but Lesley Ann provided all details for paint and blinds, as well as a shopping list for IKEA (very useful as all we had to do was hit a button for delivery) and a list of all the suggested accessories, which meant that I just had to go online to source and buy when ready. In addition, Lesley Ann advised when it looked like IKEA was about to discontinue certain items so we could do a quick purchase before the items ran out; above and beyond what I was expecting! Overall, I can’t recommend Lesley Ann highly enough, but now my worry is that she will be too busy to take on any future commissions from us!

She is quite creative and comes up with fantastic mood boards which incorporates her professional touch and the customer’s taste. We approached Lesley Ann Interiors with a view to staging and sprucing up our soon to be Vacant property in the UK. We were contemplating selling our property if a tenant couldn’t be found quickly. Living in Melbourne Australia, we had become used to viewing properties that had been professionally staged to a good standard and thus sold quickly and at a better price. We approached Lesley by email and Skype. She was able to put us at ease straight away and was able to undertake the work that we were after. However our property was let very quickly and so we decided to wait another year before trying to sell… and wait for Brexit to settle. Lesley didn’t charge for any of her time. We will definitely use Lesley when we are looking to sell our property in Milton Keynes as her friendly manner and professionalism was outstanding.

Lesley has a great eye for designing rooms that blend various colours and textures together to achieve an accomplished look and feel to a room.

I first used Lesley when i was looking for inspiration for my lounge; I had a couple of sofas and colour options in mind. I sent Lesley some photos and she skilfully put mood boards together to show me the various options against the existing wall colour and carpet. She also added some suggested standalone furniture, curtains and soft furnishings to compliment the room which allowed me to see the final look in each option. It really helped me decide on what i wanted (I went with one of her fabulous suggestions) and Lesley even helped me purchase some of the items.

Lesley is extremely helpful, full of ideas and has a great talent whereby she can pull everything together to create the look you desire.
